Check out mild-mannered Greg Linscott's post on "Fundamentalist Fantasy Camp."
Although it would surely be unfair to indict all the participants for the way the host organization chose to market this spectacle, it would just as surely be unwise to ignore how many will no longer look for leadership or fellowship among those who see this as serious Christianity.

Wow. And all this time I had assumed that peanuts and Cracker Jacks were bad for the falsetto.
I can just see all the trainers marching down the aisle on opening night to, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" blasting on the organ-with the 1/3 beat emphasized of course.
Should I be somewhat suprised to see Calvary in Landsdale hosting this . . . ugh . . . this . . . ugh . . . event?
Paul,
I think it would be wise not to hold Calvary responsible for the way it's being promoted. Though they would surely be familiar with the content, I can't imagine they had any idea of the packaging in advance.
Thanks Ben. I am glad to hear that.
Ben,
So...am I to assume you are going to skip out on Together For The Gospel to attend this? You might just learn something.
Wait just a minute! It just came to me! This brochure would be PERFECT for the T4G Conference! Hmmm. I wonder what people would be saying if this was the brochure for that event.
Let's see what I can do with it. Tell Dever that he can use the design if he wants.
