"We will never save civilisation as long as civilisation is our main object. We must learn to want something else even more."
—C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity
As a black man, I would say that you are joking about the "mixed race" issue because:
1. You are not black. 2. You don't understand how much that issue really hurt.
It wasn't, isn't and shouldn't ever be a joke.
Thanks
PS I am staying "anonymous" because I don't want to deal with this issue in my life at this time. My message is sent out of concern and love for all my fellow Christians.
The BJU picture was likely taken during Bible Conference when guys are required to wear a coat and tie. And since Sidwell's book is outside reading for one of the doctrines courses, he was probably just doing his homework. (Or pretending, as it seems.)
I thought BJU was not Tax Exempt? First a beloved dorm name changes mysteriously, now tax exempt status reemerges? What's next -- PR photos that reflect what it's really like on campus!

Dustin doesn't even see the oddity...and seems to think it wasn't staged.
Is there such a thing as a "beloved dorm"? I am glad they renamed the Residence Hall to Harry Ironside, someone whom I have always admired. Also, BJU is not tax exempt, but there are vehicles in which to give to BJU that are tax exempt.

I feel a caption contest coming on...
Boy: "And then he said, 'Billy, you'll never amount to nothing if you leave this University!'"
Girl: "Woops!"

I think this is classic BJ bubble talk
