. Ware described his book as an attempt to communicate the great things of God in a simple way that young minds can comprehend. He's trying to help parents help their children understand that the stories of the Bible are intended to teach us about him, not to instill a graceless moralism that is so common in homes and Sunday schools and Christian schools.
