These thoughts from Piper are worth more time than they're likely to receive in the electronic media, but I offer them for your edification. They've certainly been such to me.
I was surprised with the wording of one that said we will very soon be without a body. This seems like a bad way to put it in our culture, because we need to be reminded about the resurrection to a "spiritual" body. I know Piper is not arguing aginst this, but perhaps it could be better put, realize that you will soon be without this mortal body.
