Hypothetical question: If you run a website that recommends churches, and one of those churches hosts an evangelist who speaks in a Free Will Baptist Church that's part of a fellowship of churches, some of which teach that a genuine believer can lose his salvation, have you compromised the gospel? After all, you're holding hands with someone who's holding hands with someone who's holding hands with someone who's holding hands with someone who's holding hands with someone who teaches false doctrine about the gospel.
Not that I have anyone in particular in mind. I'm just curious.

That is the classic example of why a guy like John MacArthur is off limits! Here we go....
John MacArthur fellowships with Al Mohler who runs a school that has the Billy Graham School of Evangelism and Billy Graham cooperated with the Pope...so? John MacArthur is fellowships with Catholics!
Isn't it amazing? If we were all only as concerned with our own personal holiness as we are everyone else, Christendom would be a better place.
I am sure if we dig deep enough Ben, you are connected to the person who wrote this. Barnum and Bailey would be jealous of this show.
Two responses come to mind:
One, this reminds me of that "Six Degrees of Separation" game, which, as it happens, cleverly has the word "separation" it it.
And two, a classic answer - we've never done it that way before, so no, we won't do it this time.
James, guilty as charged. I'm sure a skillful connectionalist could link me to the devil himself faster than you could say "Harold John Ockenga."
By the transitive property....
I say YES, if you happen to publish an article on the said website, that says holding hands with the DCBC is a few steps removed from the Vatican's pontifical something-or-other.
