Tools for Manufacturing "Worship"
If some folks try to manufacture worship with things like this: then isn't possible that others try to manufacture worship with things like this?
Yes. FWIW, my definition of "immodesty" in worship (actually borrowed and adjusted from Eric Routley) is something that attempts to "manufacture" a response through manipulation. This can be done with a guitar or an organ (or a song leader!)
Just the manufacturing part. Like Scott said, people can and will try to conjure "worship" regardless of the musical form. Sometimes people do that with acapella, as well.

ReplyDeleteAre you perhaps calling for an acapella worship? Or just deriding the manipulation of any person no matter the instrument?
